Symptom

No local voice output

Possible causes

Local voice may be muted, TTS unavailable, output routed elsewhere, or no eligible event may have occurred.

Check in this order

  1. Check Voice callouts and the Drive mute control.
  2. Use Preview voice while stationary.
  3. Check Engineer volume, Android media volume and the chosen audio route.
  4. If preview works, inspect the relevant detail/group/individual setting and event eligibility.

Safe corrective action

Enable the intended local controls and install an available English Android TTS voice when missing.

Verify recovery

Preview is audible locally; then observe a naturally qualifying event separately.
