Bot permissions are incorrect

Possible causes

Server roles and channel overrides can prevent visibility, joining or speech.

Check in this order

  1. Check View Channel.
  2. Check Connect.
  3. Check Speak and whether the bot is muted.
  4. Check overrides in the exact selected channel.

Safe corrective action

Grant the minimal required voice permissions to the bot in your private channel.

Verify recovery

The bot joins and its test phrase is audible to a joined listener.
