A Session has no detailed lap data

Possible causes

The drive may have been summary-only, details may have been evicted, or an older/imported package may not contain them.

Check in this order

  1. Read the Session’s detail availability.
  2. Check the storage budget/protection and summary-only drive decision.
  3. Check the original package’s contents/availability without inventing missing frames.

Safe corrective action

Import a preserved package with usable details if available. Star/export valuable future Sessions before retention removes unprotected detail.

Verify recovery

LAB can load the retained trace. A summary alone cannot recover a missing trajectory.
