beta

64 checks. Not 64 features.

LapMind is getting close enough to beta that adding another shiny thing would be easier than finishing the things already there.

So I made a list. It has 64 checks.

Most of them are not features. They are things that should simply be true every time.

For example: connecting to a PlayStation should actually start LapMind, and the app should tell the truth about the difference between waiting for GT7 and receiving telemetry.

A Session should survive export, deletion and import without losing the detailed lap or the path back into Analyse.

Track Lab should mean the same lap everywhere. Phone, fullscreen and tablet should point at the same real time and the same real place on the track, whichever analysis view I open.

Phone · Track Lab. The work now is less about another mode and more about making every mode agree.

And Discord setup should make sense to someone who has never created a bot before. Working for me is not the same thing as being ready for someone else.

That is what most of the list looks like.

Not glamorous. Very useful.

Meanwhile, I’m still working through the tracks one by one. Tsukuba Circuit, BB Raceway and High Speed Ring have V1 Track Lab maps now. More will follow.

The closer beta gets, the more I like boring work.
