The saved PlayStation IP is wrong

Possible causes

A router or network change can give the console a different address.

Check in this order

  1. Open the console’s connection-status screen.
  2. Compare its current IPv4 address with the saved profile.
  3. Do not use an internet/public address or an unrelated device address.

Safe corrective action

Edit the profile, save the current console address and connect that profile.

Verify recovery

Fresh telemetry is received from the intended console. Do not publish the address in a bug report.
