Storage is full or the detail budget is reached

Possible causes

The detail budget and phone free space are different constraints; active/protected records can exceed the budget.

Check in this order

  1. Read Sessions & analysis, Detailed traces and Protected traces separately.
  2. Export valuable data before removal.
  3. Review stars and available budgets.
  4. Read the pre-drive summary-only confirmation if detail cannot safely start.

Safe corrective action

Free space deliberately, change an appropriate budget, or explicitly choose summary-only for that drive. Never assume increasing a preference creates disk capacity.

Verify recovery

The storage state improves and the intended capture mode is explicit.
