A saved checkbox can be structurally inactive under its current group/detail policy, or an event may not qualify.

Symptom

A checked callout is inactive or silent

Possible causes

A saved checkbox can be structurally inactive under its current group/detail policy, or an event may not qualify.

Check in this order

  1. Read the Inactive reason beside the child.
  2. Essential excludes standalone New Best/position; lap number requires Detailed.
  3. Check the relevant Safety, Strategy or Performance group.
  4. Check race facts, pit/finish state and whether the information was still fresh.

Safe corrective action

Change the named gate if you want the event. The saved child preference does not need to be erased/recreated.

Verify recovery

The muted inactive state clears. This establishes eligibility, not guaranteed audio.
