Discord says Connected, but is silent

Possible causes

Bot connection alone does not mean your personal account is listening or that the audio route is audible.

Check in this order

  1. Join the same channel with your personal account.
  2. Use Test voice before diagnosing race-event eligibility.
  3. Check bot member mute/volume, console output and chat/game balance.
  4. If the test works, check that fresh GT7 data and the desired event actually qualify.

Safe corrective action

Correct the listening route or setting identified by these checks; keep the bot and your own membership distinct.

Verify recovery

Hear “Discord connected. Voice test successful. Hopefully.” through the intended output.
