Where: Race callouts → Race events & strategy → Position changes.
How to use it
- Enable Position changes, Performance and Standard or Detailed mode.
- Choose Confirm position change after: 1, 2 or 3 seconds. Three seconds is the default. A new position must persist long enough to qualify.
- Look at the current activity: competitive position speech needs a meaningful race context; practice is not promised a race-position callout.
Options and defaults
| Control | Fresh default | Values / action | Condition or meaning |
|---|---|---|---|
| Position changes | ON | On / Off | Performance and non-Essential |
| Confirm position change after | 3 seconds | 1 / 2 / 3 seconds | Active when Position changes is effective and enabled |
Operating principle and expected output
Stability filtering reduces chatter from short-lived changes. Summary position is a current factual clause, not a position-change claim and not controlled by this standalone switch.
When output is absent or limited
A reversal before the delay, missing/invalid position, Essential mode, Performance OFF, pit/lifecycle restrictions or freshness/priority arbitration can make the message silent. Short-lived information is not replayed much later.
